The Commodore Executive SX-64

Here's a very interesting and rare C-64 system. Called either the Executive 64 or just "SX-64", it is a portable, or rather, "luggable" Commodore-64 computer with detachable keyboard, internal 5¼" disk drive, speaker and 5-inch CRT screen. It is as big as a desktop computer, and about as heavy as one. It has a large handle for carrying the damn heavy thing around.

A friend of mine found this SX-64 at a thrift store a few years ago and told me about it. I was green with envy. Recently, he was clearing the "junk" out of his room and offered this to me for sale. I picked it up, for sure, because it is nice and compact, a piece of Commodore's history, and well, it's just plain cool (to a C-64 user's eyes)! I use this more often than my regular breadbox C-64 just because it's self-contained, the keyboard is better, and I can still hook it up to my monitor and stereo system. Cool!!....
