105-in-1 Gameboy Cartridge

Here is an interesting cart that I found at a flea market. It had no label and the thumb recess on the front said only "GAME". The casing was also badly damaged. I took it home and tried it out. It didn't work until I opened up the cart casing, gave it a good cleaning, polished the contacts with an eraser, and cleared the grime/corrosion out from the chip contacts. Presto! It worked in my Super Game Boy!

It presents a rudimentary menu, and you select the games with the joypad, and skip banks with the select button. It contains a large number of the small first-generation GB games, as well as many games from 1990-1991, and some from 1992. It says 105 games on the menu, but there are really only 50 original games. The rest are merely copies of the other games, with cheats added like extra lives; invincibility; or in the case of all the shameless copies of Adventure Island 2, having you start on higher levels. Still, it's worth it even for the 50 that are there.
